## Get started in minutes: first time? Four steps.

The dashboard walks you through a guided flow. Finish a step and it advances on its own.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

## Sign in — Sign in with email

Enter your OnchainOS email and we'll send a one-time code — code in, you're in. No password to remember.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Connect — Connect the computer your assistant runs on

Name the computer running your assistant and the dashboard generates a one-time command. Hand it to the AI assistant on that computer to run automatically, or paste it into a terminal yourself. Once it's running, the computer is linked to the dashboard.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Set up — Install OnchainOS

If that computer doesn't have OnchainOS yet, just click Install — fully automatic, no terminal, about a minute, then it continues on its own.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Activate — Activate the assistant's wallet

Activate the assistant's wallet: enter an email, get a code, confirm. Once done, the assistant has a working wallet. After this you can manage connected computers anytime on the **Machines** page.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Your money: moving it isn't easy

This is a tool for doing things, not a demo page. Safety comes first by design.

* **Moving money always needs your approval** — Transfers, swap execution, and bridge execution all move funds, so a confirmation pops up before submitting. Only when you approve does it actually go on-chain.
* **The assistant's wallet is separate** — It's isolated from your personal wallet. Even if the assistant misbehaves, the blast radius is limited to the assets in its own wallet.
* **The dashboard only watches** — The dashboard holds no wallet keys and never goes on-chain itself. Every real operation happens on your own computer.

## FAQ

<details>

<summary>How does the assistant's wallet relate to my own wallet?</summary>

They're unrelated — two separate wallets. The assistant's wallet is created and managed by OnchainOS just for the AI; it can't touch your personal wallet. To fund it, send to the address on the **Receive** page.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Which chains are supported?</summary>

Swap, bridge, and send cover the major networks: Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, and X Layer.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does that computer need to stay on?</summary>

Yes. The assistant and its wallet run on the computer you connected, and the connection command needs to keep running — close the window and the computer disconnects and the assistant stops. Re-run the command to bring it back.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is the data on the dashboard real-time?</summary>

Data refreshes on a timer rather than streaming live, so balances and prices can lag by seconds to tens of seconds. You can also refresh manually.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I didn't get the code — what now?</summary>

Check your spam folder first. Still nothing? Click Resend on the sign-in screen, or double-check the email address. Signing in needs a connection — the code is sent by OKX in real time.

## Glossary

* **OnchainOS** — OKX's toolkit that lets an AI assistant safely hold and use crypto. This dashboard is built on top of it.
* **Assistant wallet** — The wallet OnchainOS creates just for the AI assistant — separate from your personal wallet, and the funding source for all of its on-chain activity.
* **Gas / network fee** — The network fee every on-chain action costs. With Gas Station on, you can pay it in stablecoins instead of stocking native tokens.
